Tobias Maier is the CFO for Middle East and Africa at DHL Global Forwarding, a division of Deutsche Post DHL Group that is responsible for DHL’s air, ocean and overland freight forwarding business. In January 2019, he was also named CEO of Saloodo! Middle East, the digital road freight marketplace developed under DHL Global Forwarding. Saloodo!, is an online marketplace providing B2B companies instant access to road freight providers. Operated like a start-up within the Group, Tobias has managed the expansion of the platform across the Middle East & Africa.

Abdul Majid works as an Executive Director – Financial Controls and Systems at ACWA Power. He strongly believes that digitalization is a need for every organization irrespective of it size and business. For him digitalization is not merely automation of processes; it is the ability to visualize data in a manner that can transform business decision making. In his current role he has been leading various digital transformation initiatives for finance functions.
